WE SHALL RISE AGAIN.

Ezekiel 37: 1 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Sovereign Lord, you alone know." 4 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[1] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.' " 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army. 11 Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.' "

Research shows that,bones contain calcium but this bones according to Ezekiel is a dry bone a bone that lack nutrient. That reminds me of this saying of my people “a dry bone cannot prepare Dzenkple” all because when preparing Dzenkple, you have to use the steam water you get from the meat together with the corn powder to prepare it, just by the way anyway.The world today is looking like the dry bones in the valley,the world is in disorder state, our finance sector, education sector and everything that constitutes the world today is in a chaos state.That is why this question will repeat itself, “He asked me,Son of man can this bones live?” most of us will be worry the same way Ezekiel was,when question of this nature approach us, but we just need to reply the LORD with this words that; “sovereign LORD,you alone know.He is the only one who knows the end from the beginning.The same God in Ezekiel is saying “ I looked for someone who will build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so that I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one” Ezekiel 22:30.Meaning since the outbreak of the pandemic,we are standing but not to GOD’S satisfaction.We have to stand up well in the gap to prophecy so that healing and restoration will come to our land.Ezekiel and every other person will forget about this scripture when you’ve been confronted with the reality about life like as we see it today. Job 22:28 You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your way. Ezekiel forgot he has been given a power from Above.

When Ezekiel start prophesying to the bones mysterious things started happening-7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.our prayers are changing things but that’s not the end of it all,we are still lacking things that constitutes the whole world and that is;8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. We are lacking the breath of God which will bring back every dead things in the world to life. I’ve been convince,their is a need for the breath of God because back in the Genesis man was a dead being untill God breath into him before he become a living being, meaning our restoration can only come if the breath of God is confine in us,that is why the hymn writer says in MHB 300…

1: BREATHE on me, Breath of God; Fill me with life anew, That I may love what Thou dost love, And do what Thou wouldst do.

2: Breathe on me, Breath of God, Until my heart is pure; Until with Thee I will one will, To do and to endure.

3: Breathe on me, Breath of God, Till I am wholly Thine; Until this earthly part of me Glows with Thy fire divine.

4: Breathe on me, Breath of God: So shall I never die, But live with Thee the perfect life Of Thine eternity.

The world will not realize the vast resources we are loosing,if we didn’t put an end to this pandemic through prayers.The Christiandom must rise up and fight with this invisible enemy with the power of God which is unseen but can be seen through it manifestation, Ezekiel did that and he saw the great army his people were loosing.10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army.

Everyone is crying because businesses are collapsing, people salary has been cut down, people loss their jobs, marriages are at the point of divorce and many more, all hopes are lost unlike the Israelites who were complaining to God;11 Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off. Their is a need for us to to know God is the hope for the hopeless,I remember the words in Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.Every place is really hot but the LORD is promising something which is huge and that will make as forget that;their was no COVID 19 before,though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. The LORD said to Ezekiel 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.Many of us are passing through a lot of difficulties due to this pandemic but the LORD is saying he will deliver us from our grave,it may be the grave of financial problem, educational problem,marital problem etc. Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."(Matthew 19:26) Our God is the Almighty God and He is always faithful to His words. Numbers 23 :19God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Finally the LORD gave a promise to His people and since we are also His people, the sheep of His pasture this is also for us according to the verse 14 Ezekiel 37 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.' ” this must also give us an assurance that the Most High will definitely do what He said, this pandemic shall soon be over as surely as Yahweh live. The psalmist said “When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.” This COVID 19 shall become a dream to us, because a restoration from above is at our door step, indeed we will rise again.
